I really do like them both in Mr. And Mrs Smith. posted by: OldSchool (reply) post date: 07.14.08 (5:56 am) Reply to: PirateGirl Good point regarding Jennifer Aniston. Angelina Jolie is beautiful, but how do you leave Jennifer Aniston??? I am only judging his acting on the big screen and some of that has been quite impressive. posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 07.14.08 (9:09 am) Reply to: OldSchool Oh I know you are ( just judging his acting ) - I really enjoyed Oceans Eleven alot! - guess it still "frosts me" how he treated Jenifer Aniston. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 07.14.08 (12:37 pm) I thought Ocean's Eleven wasn't bad, but the sequels weren't very good. I don't know why anyone cares about the kids of celebrities. I sure don't want to see pictures. posted by: inkspector (reply) post date: 07.15.08 (5:59 am) Good luck to them. I have never seen a movie with either one in them. posted by: emerging (reply) post date: 07.15.08 (12:22 pm) What happened to "Meet Joe Black"?...or was that just a chick flick :) posted by: sebastianjoshua (reply) post date: 07.15.08 (6:48 pm) yes... what happen to Meet Joe Black? i love that movie... watched it 3-4 times lol frankly speaking i hate Ocean 11, 12 and 13 posted by: OldSchool (reply) post date: 07.16.08 (1:02 pm) Reply to: emerging I realize that Meet Joe Black is well liked by many, but I was not so much a fan. It would probably rank in the top 15 if I would have gone out that far. Thanks for reading! posted by: auntconi (reply) post date: 07.17.08 (7:49 am) I saw "Thelma & Louise" (a lot and I love that movie) and "A River Runs Through It" ~~ on tv of course as I don't go to the theater and haven't for quite some time. Not that I can't, you understand. I guess I enjoy the comfort of 'my own space' ~ now if they had 'recliners' in theaters so I could relax, I'd be tempted. But then if I doze off I can't hit the 'rewind' button to see what I've missed. duh! Enjoy ~~ and perhaps I'll see if I can view a few more of his films. Thanks for all your work in these "Top 10 Movies" ~ always very interesting. ((hugs)) posted by: swanktrendz (reply) post date: 07.17.08 (7:23 pm) I LOVED the movie Snatch. I thought everyone's performance was brilliant, and Brad Pitt made me forget his 'pretty boy' stereotype. I also enjoyed Seven but he really sold me in Kalifornia - totally creeped me out! He's a good actor (and I can't blame him for his Jolie attraction - although I do like Anniston, just not with him). posted by: swanktrendz (reply) post date: 07.17.08 (7:24 pm) BTW - Meet Joe Black is great, but come on, his looks overshadow the film. I had to watch it three times to figure it out - I was so busy just staring at the guy heh. posted by: OldSchool (reply) post date: 07.18.08 (6:07 am) Reply to: swanktrendz I thought Pitt was good in Kalifornia, but I did not like the overall movie all that much. I am not necessarily a Brad Pitt fan, but I will admit that he is a talented actor & he does not always get as much credit as he deserves for his performances. In roles like Snatch, Twelve Monkeys or even Fight Club he creates great characters on the screen. As always, thanks for reading! posted by: ablogger (reply) post date: 07.19.08 (10:18 pm) I too really liked the Ocean's movies. I think the casting was perfect! posted by: swanktrendz (reply) post date: 07.21.08 (7:44 am) I've decided that Brad's looks have probably been both a blessing and a curse for him. His model-looks probably make him have to 'fight' for every meaty role, yet his looks are what fattens his wallet. Great article - got me thinking. |
