Now, that was not nice... posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 02.16.09 (11:54 pm) I had a couple of her solo cassettes and have her greatest hits on CD, but the GoGos never made it into my collection. I like her voice. posted by: cammentary (reply) post date: 02.17.09 (2:51 am) Leave A Light On For Me was aand still is an awesome track. The George Harrison solo compliments it perfectly. posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 02.17.09 (7:15 am) Should be an interesting show this season - I think I'm betting on Belinda - so far ;) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.17.09 (9:18 pm) The song I know best of hers is Circle in the Sand. I even had the piano music for it! posted by: Ladyg (reply) post date: 02.19.09 (4:43 am) Great list, I love the dog waiting patiently while the skunk eat her food. posted by: ChicagoKen (reply) post date: 03.18.09 (11:25 pm) Belinda has had 30 singles. Even though she is from the U.S., she has had more success as a solo artist in Europe, Asia, and Australia especially after her 3rd album Runaway Horses in 1990. Her Greatest Hits Compliation reached number 1 on the European charts in 1992 and went multiplatinum as well. Some other notable hit singles: "We Want The Same Thing", "Summer Rain", "Live Your Life Be Free", "Do You Feel Like I Feel?", "Big Scary Animal", "Lay Down Your Arms", "In Too Deep", "Always Breaking My Heart", "California" (with Brian Wilson). Her most recent album; 2007's French language recording: "Voila" was critically accclaimed. It is her most passionate vocals to date. Who knew she was a chantuese? Great record!! |
